Fight against global warming, protection of the environment, improvement of the living environment, social responsibility (CSR)... so many challenges that communities and businesses must face. As such, many have chosen to commit to reducing their carbon footprint linked to their activity.

The environmental challenges for Loxam and its customers!

  • Reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions linked to the energy consumption of equipment on construction sites (machinery, transport).

  • Decrease in nuisance for residents and employees in the context of construction sites that can cause noise, vibrations or dust.

In the short term, the specifications of cities and metropolitan areas will impose strict standards on entrepreneurs in terms of polluting emissions. E
uropean public authorities have already taken initiatives to promote the development of standards. A new regulation for heat engines, known as STAGE V, imposes less greenhouse gas emissions, fewer fine particles and less noise, for new vehicles using these engines.

The winning companies will be those which have been able to anticipate these requirements and the new ecological challenges (reduction of greenhouse gases).

“GREEN” or “ECO-SITE” WORK SITES

Take into account the impact on the environment: preservation of nature, less waste, noise reduction, carbon footprint (volume of CO2 emitted in its mode of operation).

The LOXGREEN range

Committed to the fight against global warming and the protection of the environment, LOXAM provides concrete solutions with a complete range of new materials that are more respectful of the environment and the health of users and which contribute to the reduction of noise pollution.

  • Articulated loaders

  • Telescopic forklifts

  • Compactors

  • Compressors

  • Dumpers

  • Generators

  • Mini excavators

  • Lighting poles

  • Aerial platforms and lifting platforms

Which technology to choose?

In addition to the latest Stage V engines, LOXAM offers 4 different engine technologies for these materials from the LOXGREEN range.

electric.png
ELECTRIC

Equipment powered by batteries (Lead or Lithium-Ion accumulators) can be recharged from the mains and have direct current motors with voltages up to 48 V. Some equipment has a diesel generator on board to recharge their batteries and thus allow them to extend their autonomy.

hybrid.png
HYBRID

Hybrid equipment is equipped with two types of engine, most often electric and thermal. These can be added to provide the energy or power necessary for certain movements or work phases.

bi-energie.png
BI-ENERGY

Like hybrid equipment, dual-energy equipment is equipped with two types of motorization, most often electric and thermal. These are used alternately for the same purpose.

GAS

Motorization mainly for road vehicles powered by Compressed or Liquefied Natural Gas (Methane).
